The first Major of Counter-Strike 2 is about to start. But before the biggest party of CS can begin, everyone has to survive the Regional Major Rankings (RMR) in Bucharest. From the 19th of February, our boys will give their all to secure a ticket to Copenhagen.
A new situation
We were able to qualify for the Major the last two times. But even though we made it the previous two, something has changed. A stellar run to the Grand Final of the Paris Major fired us directly into the world of Tier 1 Counter-Strike. The expectation is to go to a Major for the third time in a row.
A tough group and a tough first match
It's the beauty and the pain of every RMR; no-one is safe, and some top teams won't make it. Our first match will be against Team Vitality, our opponent in the Final of the Paris Major. Both teams have changed two players, but the core is still the same. One will start with a loss and be under a lot of pressure. The second group of the RMR is stacked with top teams. There is Team Spirit, who won IEM Katowice and are in donk fever. There is MOUZ with the most promising roster in CS right now. There are the Danish powerhouses Heroic and Astralis. And, and, and.
One goal
Playing against the world's best teams is unfortunate, but it's also where we want to be. When you want to be one of the best, you have to beat them. There are no excuses; the goal is to qualify for the Major, and we will give it our all to get there.
